Return, Refund, & Exchange Policy

At My Beach Hero, your satisfaction is our top priority. We strive to provide high-quality products and an excellent shopping experience. Please read our comprehensive policy below to understand your options for returns, refunds, and exchanges.

I. Our Standard Return & Exchange Period

You may return most eligible, unused, and unopened items in their original packaging within 30 days from the original delivery date for a full refund or exchange.

II. Conditions for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must meet the following criteria:

  • Proof of Purchase Required: All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase. This includes your original order confirmation email, packing slip, or a clearly identifiable digital receipt.

  • Item Condition:

    • Items must be returned in their original, unused, and undamaged condition.

    • All original product tags, labels, and packaging (including any protective seals, boxes, or inserts) must be intact and free from damage or alteration.

    • Any accessories, manuals, or complimentary items included with the original purchase must also be returned.

    • We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange if the item shows signs of use, wear, damage, alteration, or if any original packaging or components are missing.

  • Return Authorization (RMA): Before sending any item back, you must contact our customer service team to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without a valid RMA number may be delayed or refused.

  • Return Shipping:

    • For returns due to a change of mind or customer error (e.g., ordered wrong size/color), the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

    • For returns of incorrect, defective, or damaged items (see Section V below), My Beach Hero will cover the return shipping costs.

    • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx with tracking) and purchasing shipping insurance for your return shipment, especially for high-value items. My Beach Hero is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

    • Please package your return securely to prevent damage during transit.

III. Refund Processing

Once your returned item is received and meticulously inspected by our team, we will send you an email notification confirming receipt and the status of your refund.

  • Approval: If your return is approved, your refund will be processed promptly. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (e.g., credit card, PayPal, etc.) within 7-10 business days.

  • Disapproval: If your return is not approved (e.g., item not in original condition, missing components, past return window), we will notify you by email. In such cases, the item may be returned to you at your expense.

  • Payment Provider Processing Time: Please be aware that it may take additional time for your bank, credit card company, or payment provider to process and post the refund to your account after we have issued it. This timeframe is beyond our control.

IV. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

For reasons of hygiene, safety, customization, or to maintain the integrity of our products, the following items are generally not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged or defective (as per Section V):

  • Perishable Goods: Items such as e.g., food, live plants, fresh flowers, specific perishable consumables.

  • Intimate Apparel/Personal Care Items: Such as e.g., underwear, swimwear, opened cosmetics, skincare products, earrings for hygiene reasons.

  • Digital Products: Downloadable software, e-books, gift cards, or other digital content.

  • Customized or Personalized Items: Products that have been specifically made or altered to your specifications.

  • "Final Sale," "As Is," or "No Returns Accepted" Items: Products explicitly marked as such at the time of purchase. These designations will be clearly displayed on the product page and/or during the checkout process.

  • Used, Damaged, or Altered Items (After Purchase): Products that show signs of use, wear, damage, or alteration after delivery.

  • Items Not in Original Packaging: Products returned without all original packaging, tags, and accessories.

  • Gift Cards: Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Please review product descriptions carefully for specific return eligibility before making a purchase.

V. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We thoroughly inspect all items before shipment, but errors can occur. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact our customer service team immediately within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue efficiently, please provide:

  1. Your order number.

  2. A clear description of the damage, defect, or discrepancy.

  3. Photographic or video evidence (if applicable) clearly showing the issue with the item and its packaging.

Upon verification, My Beach Hero will arrange for a return shipping label and, at our discretion, offer one of the following solutions:

  • A full refund for the item.

  • A replacement of the item (subject to availability).

  • Store credit.

VI. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an eligible item for a different size, color, or a different product of equal value, please indicate your preference when requesting your RMA. Exchanges are subject to item availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund will be issued according to our policy.

VII. Restocking Fees (If Applicable)

In certain instances, a reasonable restocking fee of up to 15% of the item's purchase price may be applied to returns for reasons other than a damaged, defective, or incorrect item. This fee helps cover the actual costs associated with processing and re-shelving returned merchandise. Any applicable restocking fees will be clearly communicated during the return authorization process.

VIII. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact Customer Service: Email us at pleasehelp@mybeachhero.com or call us at ‪(831) 291-5726 during business hours Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST.

  2. Provide Order Details: Include your order number, the specific item(s) you wish to return or exchange, and the reason for the return/exchange.

  3. Receive RMA & Instructions: Our team will provide you with a unique Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on how to package and ship your item(s) back to us.

  4. Ship Your Return: Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of your return package. Ship the item(s) to the address provided by our customer service team.
